20 Week Pregnancy Update (Scan Photo & Bump Shot)

Hey,

I can't believe I am sat here writing my 20 week update... It's strange because it feels like it has come around very quick although at the same time it feels like it hasn't'. For those of you who may not know, 20 weeks is considered the 'halfway' point in Pregnancy because full term is considered 40 weeks (seems a very long way away!)

I decided when I found out that I was Pregnant that I didn't want to do weekly updates so I thought it would be a good idea to do one now at 20 weeks to let you all catch up with what's been going on.

My Hyperemesis Gravidarum has now settled a lot more than it was, I am now not being sick every day and can eat more meals which is very good. Although I still have my 'off' days a majority of the time I feel reasonably ok, which is a dramatic change to a few weeks ago.

We have most of the baby's clothes now too which seems very strange but I have a very good reason for this... with Hyperemesis it is likely that around 30 weeks pregnant the sickness will return and I may become poorly again, so I have been buying clothes and other 'baby bits' since my gender scan at 16 weeks. Some people I have spoken to think that I may have done it all 'too early' but personally its allowed me to relax slightly now and know that I am prepared If the sickness does return (hopefully it doesn't!) Let me know below if you would like to see a blog post about my favourite baby items I have bought so far.

I am also feeling little kicks and movements now which is a very strange feeling, every time it still surprises me. She is kicking me quite low down which can be quite uncomfortable but i'm sure she will start moving a lot more soon.

I also have had my 20 week anatomy scan which in the UK is the scan that checks that the baby is healthy and measuring at the right size. I was very nervous about having this scan (which is totally normal) because I was so sick at the beginning of the pregnancy I was worried that she may be measuring slightly small but she isn't, she is measuring totally normal.

My Baby Shower is being planned as we speak and I am so excited for it, I can't wait to see all my friends and family. There will definately be a whole blog post about the day! (It isn't for a few weeks yet)

That's enough chatter now what about the baby?

At 20 weeks Pregnant she is about the size of a Banana, which seems pretty big!

I have definitely got a bump now!
(I use an app called 'Bumpies' to take my 'bump shots' every week)

I would just like to say a massive thank you again for all the support and lovely comments over on my Instagram from you all, it means a lot.
I love being able to share this journey with you all and bring on the next 20 (ish) weeks!

Until next time,

Soy Wax Melts From The Fragrant Faeries

Hey,

For those of you who follow my instagram you will know that recently I have been posting about collaborating and supporting small businesses. I want to share unique products with you all that I think you would all like too. This week I wanted to share with you all these beautiful, soy wax melts from The Fragrant Faeries.

The Fragrant Faeries are a small independent business run by a mother and daughter, now I discovered them on Instagram (although they have other social media accounts) and I was immediately drawn to there colorful scented melts and I knew that  I had to collaborate with them.

First of all I am a big sucker for cute packaging, so can we just appreciate this for a second?! PINK TISSUE PAPER hand wrapped sealed with a Fragrant Faeries sticker.

Wax melts are a fairly new thing for me as I only got my wax burner at Christmas so in all honestly I didn't know what to expect scent wise. But I was very, very surprised at the amazing aroma that I discovered as soon as I unwrapped these products.

'Pink Champagne' & 'La Vie Est Belle'.

For those of you who are not aware I am currently pregnant and suffer with a rare condition called 'Hyperemesis Gravidarum' (there is a whole blog post explaining it) so choosing scents was a large part of this collaboration as many scents makes me feel very poorly. I decided to go for quite 'sweet' smelling melts and my personal favourite is 'Snow Fairy' which smells very much like Lush Cosmetics Shower Gel.

Not only was the packaging beautifully done but the actual melts themselves are topped off with purple glitter, what's not to love?!

I would like to thank this wonderful company for sending me some of your unique brilliant products to try and review, so thank you.

If you would like to head over to The Fragrant Faeries social media's and there Etsy shop - You can find all the links below (UK based business)

Until next time,
Stormydoos

*I would like to say that I would never recommend a product that I did not personally find of good quality and safe. This is not a paid collaboration although the products were sent to me to be reviewed and possibly featured - If you have a small business and would like to collaborate please contact me via email*
